Today marks 1 month before my LMP due date. It has surprised and amazed me at how fast this all has gone. I am having trouble wrapping my head around the fact that I could have my baby in my arms in 2-5 weeks!
I hit the 35 "pre-term" mark last Saturday (7/20). Everything is going well and smoothly. Fundal height is right on track, BP is normal and baby's heart rate sounds great! She likes sitting with her butt sticking into my belly button. She is more active and reactive than her brother was and I am still getting used to the movements. I am sure I will get used to it and then have her and wonder what happened.
I take my childbirth classes on the 26th and the 27th. I am very excited to learn about things from a more natural stand-point vs a mainstream/hospital stand-point.
Friday a friend of mine is coming all the way from Germany to visit and help out for a week. She will be able to experience the birth center with me through a tour, a Mom's group and an appointment. I am interested to see how she reacts to the care that is provided/given to women her vs how it is in Germany. I am also planning on taking her to the local Natural Grocers, Whole Foods and Farmer's Market. We will be doing a lot of walking but it will be worth it and awesome!

I received my first registry baby gift this week too and am loving it! They are Rump-a-rooz Lil Joey's AIO Cloth diapers! I am excited to try them out and am hoping to have them as part of the coming home outfit and/or newborn photo-shoot!
