My Daughter Avalon was born on Sunday, August 22, 2010. I recall it being cloudy, wet and cold for an August day. I will never forget the moment that I first laid eyes on her and instantly fell in love. It took me days to comprehend that this little person was mine ( and my husbands of course!). I remember being in total disbelief that my husband and I had created something so beautiful and wonderful.
Avalon makes me laugh everyday. She always has a big beautiful smile or quirky little grin on her face. I hope that she will always know just how much I love her and cherish her. I tell her everyday that I love her and how smart and beautiful she is. As I write this I can hear her little voice saying "tank you mommy". (See I told you she is smart!) Avalon just turned 2, and she still makes me want to be the best parent a person can be.
Music is a BIG part of mine and my husbands life and we are quickly realizing that it is the same for Avalon. She will ask her daddy to play "Green Day" or "Stompy the Bear" or any number of other songs that she likes. We are constantly pulling up youtube and searching for the desired song of the moment.
As a parent, it's amazing to watch your child grow, develop and take those curious steps. As trying as it can be sometimes, (And I wouldn't trade her for the world and beyond!) I am still amazed everyday by this little person.
Avalon, mommy and daddy love you to the end of the universe and beyond! xoxoxox
