Have you ever gotten so sick of water that the thought instantly makes you want to gag? I have. I know you have to have your 8 glasses a day and lately, that's been hard to do. I was chatting with the other August Mama about it one day and she sent me a link on Pinterest for Sassy Water. The recipe is as follows:
1 tsp grated ginger
1 large lemon
1/2 medium cucumber ( I use the whole thing)
12 fresh mint leaves
8 1/2 cups of water
Combine all ingredients into a large pitcher and let "stew" overnight in the refrigerator.
Not only is it refreshing, but it almost makes you feel like you are cheating. By using all fresh ingredients you can be sure of a pure taste. I have found that even at room temperature (Trust me I prefer my water ice cold!) that it's still refreshing. So if you are looking for something new and refreshing, I would HIGHLY suggest that you try Sassy Water. It's also great for helping with weight loss! Another added benefit! Hey, we all need to be a little sassy every once in awhile. :)
