Thinking about things that I could do to achieve my goal has changed my perspective on that though. Self-care is more than just keeping clean and looking pretty. It's also about keeping healthy and doing things for yourself that focus on yourself.
Here are some things that I have been thinking of doing:
Setting up my sewing machine and (re)learning to sew
Doodling/drawing
Writing/Journaling/Blogging
Going for walks
Using the recipes off my "Made at Home" board and trying them all out (www.pinterest.com/kalma2010/made-at-home)
Medtation/Self-reflection
It is hard for me to think about taking time for myself since my kids are so important to me.
