Okay so really life in my household boils down to the mere fact that we just miss sleep. My smart and beautiful 2 year old is still having difficulty with sleeping at night. I hope this passes sooner rather than later. The only thing left to try is to let her cry it out and self soothe herself back to sleep. I think that is going to be the hardest thing to do. What parent wants to sit and listen to them cry. Any comments or suggestions on how to get through this would be greatly appreciated. I just want to get a good nights sleep. And I am sure my husband would like that too.
I was just reading that B5 is supposed to help with allergies/sleep. 150mg helps clear up a runny nose and 200mg helps you sleep through the night. Chamomile and Lavendar oil help calm kids and make for more restful sleep. You can get a diffuser and put drops of oil in it or you can just put some on a rag and place the rag on a fan so that it gets around he room. Trytophan is also a sleep-inducer. That is found in bananas among other foods.
